My husband and I reached out to Adela shortly after the birth of our son, when it became clear that our plan of “settling in” by ourselves was no match for the severe sleep deprivation and physical exhaustion I experienced post partum. I was zapped, overwhelmed, and terrified that things would never get better. My only regret with Adela was that we didn’t call her sooner. She was extremely skilled in attending to my needs while helping both me and my husband become more confident in our ability to handle our new baby - which was huge given that neither of us has any experience with newborns! After a handful of sessions with her I was better rested, feeling stronger, and in a much better headspace. Working with new moms requires a unique combination of abilities and Adela has them all in spades. I could not recommend her more highly.
